Midnight Sun + Twilight movie? so obviously, i am a twilight fan, and i have a few questions. 1. when is midnight sun coming out, generally? i read on her website that she got upset by the illegal posting of the first 12 chapters, but it says that she's still planning on publishing.. right? please tell me what is going on (and not just by your opinion) sources would be helpful. 2. what do you think about the twilight movie? i have not seen the trailer OR the cast, because i want it to be that much better when i watch the movie. so do you think it will be good enough? what kind movie will it be more like? are the cast well-picked? this is basically an opinion question so yeah. thank you guys SO much for your answers! Do you think Midnight Sun would make a better first movie over Twilight? I've just finished reading the leaked Midnight Sun partial draft..(i was good + read it off Stephanie's website). I thought even though it was rough and unfinished, that it had such great insight into edwards character that we don't really get in the other four books! Midnight Sun a movie? I know that it is twilight in edwards point-of-view but i still think that it would be very cool to see more of the cullen's and to see edwards side of the story. i think they should try to make a movie of midnight sun, but after all the others movies come out of course. What is your opinion? and PLEASE no twilight haters! If you don't like twilight keep your opinion to yourself. I know its pretty much the same thing as twilight but like i would like to see more of the cullens. If midnight sun would get turned into a movie then we would be able to see edward going off to alaska and what the cullens say to edward after he saves bella. Midnight sun readers. twilights my personal drug.? but unfortunately i have some problems. with the movies and book. lol but i really did like it. none oy'all get mad cause im just expressing my opinions in a nice way. :] soo on the movie i really don't like how bella gasps after every sentence. and in the book (especially midnight sun) it keeps talking about hoe unselfish she is. i mean i get it and every thing, but thanks for continually slapping me in the face with it. and how she calls mike a golden retriever. its kinda odd you would compare a boy (that happens to like you) to a dog. it seems like he is far from those sex driven freaks we come into contact with now days. lol. i mean i understand how golden retrivers are so nice and stay by your side and everything but in my opinion its kinda rude. but all critics say something good. i love twilight. Twilight saga; breaking dawn? Midnight sun? I know that the movie company is making eclipse soon. But are they going to be making a Breaking Dawn Movie as well? I remember I short while back that someone had said they were not planning on making a Breaking dawn movie. How do you feel about the Twilight movie release date being Nov. 21 instead of Dec. 12? I'm VERY happy about it. But, i'm also a bit sad because after that, there will being nothing new about Twilight until Meyer releases Midnight Sun! I'm also upset that HBP is being released on July 17th.........but hey that gives us more HP time :)

hey, twilight fans, when will the Midnight Sun be out? i can't wait to read more i just finished my breaking dawn at 3 33 am i want more to read! When will the next twilight series be out? i can't wait to watch breaking dawn, so many people and tension. i do wish the actors to be cute and good at acting and want the movie maker to mention many details in the book unlike twilight, i really do know that Twilight movie could do better with current actors and actress, Robert, Kristen(she should blink and shake her hair less) , Ashley, Jackson and Kellan. "The concern of the recent cancellation of Midnight Sun is still affecting the fandom, so much so that local news channels are turning themselves into lame spin offs of popular tabloid sitcoms similar to Access Hollywood as they too moan and groan over the scandalous events that have been circulating the Twilight series. One thing is for sure, SMeyer is definitely reaping the publicity gained by her little temper tantrum as the ‘traumatized’ diva shows no signs of budging from her current decision to suspend the completion of Midnight Sun indefinitely. Personally I seriously have to wonder. WHY is Stephenie Meyer a writer for any other reason than to make a few easy million off fulfilling the fantasies of teenage girls? Honestly I can’t possibly relate with her decisions at all, being a writer myself it baffles me at how unprofessional she has gone about her entire career especially concerning this recent incident. She brags that she’s a storyteller, yet she says she only writes for herself…yet again she is so self conscious about what ‘others think’. Wait…what?! A storyteller enjoys the act of sharing a story with others, not solely entertaining oneself. I am a storyteller AND a writer and I would never have reacted this way. In fact I would be flattered. As a storyteller my goal would be allowing as much of the world as possible to read my stories and to enjoy them. I wouldn’t curl up in the fetal position and have a hissy fit because people are reading an unfinished version of one of my manuscripts for…OMG…FREE (you mean I’m not profiting? I…can’t buy my 5th mini-van?!!)! Hell I wouldn’t mind if people pirated my books in the first place, knowing that people are reading my stories is enough satisfaction. If I make money that’s great but my main goal is to allow as many people as possible to experience the same stories I tell myself. The only rational conclusions I can come to are as follows. 1. Stephenie Meyer is having a diva moment solely for the publicity. It is merely a PR stunt to create hype and to test her fans whether it’s to see if they’re willing to shell out insane amounts of money just to ‘get her to write again’ or if it’s to see how many fans are actually willing to (basically) re-purchase Twilight. This theory is backed by the odd approach she has taken, especially that of protecting the person who leaked her manuscript. I wouldn’t be surprised at the least if SHE was in fact the person who leaked it, that the leak was in some way her idea, or that she was involved in the approval of such an action. 2. Stephenie Meyer could not have initially had anything to do with the leak, however this tantrum could be an attempt to spin the incident in her favor. By creating an uproar she still benefits by the hype. Hell she could have done it simply for superficial reasons. A shallow person like herself could have kicked her feet and yelled just to get her fans to praise her even more because she could easily be addicted to the fan worship so much so she wanted to up her dosage. Either way she’s acting like a spoiled starlet. She’s Paris Hilton in the guise of a 35 year old soccer mom. She is turning the book industry into a watered down version of smutty Hollywood tabloids. Creating scandals, PR stunts, and treating book signings like rock concerts. Thanks to her revolutionary approach to writing within 5-10 years the paparazzi won’t just be following around movie stars, musicians, and heiresses, but authors as well." To LadyNightstalker: the reason that people felt more sorry for J.K. Rowling, when part of one of her books was leaked, was because she didn't mope and throw a hissy fit. She pretty much just said "whatever" and finished the book anyway.

I read the first chapter online and i liked it...knowing what was really going on thru Edwards head when he first saw Bella...i really enjoyed it. In the twilight movie, did anyone else see the contacts Edward had in his eyes ? when they did a close up of his face i could see them SO WELL. it kind of just ruined everything. i've seen the movie five times in the theaters (including the midnight showing) and i have noticed the contacts EVERY TIME. i have read the books three times each, including midnight sun. well the first part of it. you can basically call me obsessed. yeah, i am one of those people. :)

Question about Twilight and Midnight Sun...? I'm reading Midnight Sun right now, and I am at the part where Edward saves Bella from the van. In Midnight Sun... why were there two vans spinning out of control rather than one in the Twilight movie? In the Twilight movie, Edward escaped from the scene soon as soon as he could but here in Midnight Sun he almost hung around for a bit... Answers please, and thanks!
